Good music downloads

I've got two new tracks for all you music fans out there. First up, Andrew Osenga has a track from his new album, The Morning, available on his website. The song is "After the Garden," and it's a good one. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Osenga, he is a singer/songwriter who played guitar and sang for The Normals before joining Caedmon's Call in the same capacity. He's still with Caedmon's, while pursuing his solo career. Click here to grab the "After the Garden."

Next, Sandra McCracken has a single from her new album, Gravity | Love available on her MySpace. (It's in her music player, top of the list, called "Head Over Heel.") In case you didn't know, Sandra is Derek Webb's wife, and the songwriter responsible for our arrangements of "Thy Mercy" and "I Boast No More," among others.

Go check out these free tracks, and maybe find a new grassroots artist to support. Enjoy!

I listened to the Derek Webb replacement's song and Sandra's. I find it interesting how that camp that was once mostly folk oriented now chooses to bathe their vocals in signal processing.

So much for being indie and different. ;-)
